Here I am sitting down to write, and I am stuck. Just started and I am stuck!!. So I did the next best thing...rationalize and come up with a reason as to why i am stuck. Its known as the writer's block. Yes...that is it. I am experiencing what is know as the writers block. That got me thinking....what is a writers block ? It obviously is something that prevents the writer from ...well...writing. But then, is being a 'writer' a pre-requisite to getting a writer's block ? If so then what happens to a guy who is trying to write for the first time in his life ? Can it be called a writer's block if he is not able to write ? Or is it just that he is not capable of writing ? . If he simply does not have the talent to write and he thinks its a block....isnt he then stuck till eternity in this delusion that its just a block which will go away ? Isnt the 'writers block' creating a different kind of 'block' ? Isn't it 'blocking' the guy from realizing that he is not a writer ? So then, what we have is a bigger 'writers block' of which the more commonly known writers block is a subset. So the two 'writers blocks' complement each other and create a catch-22 situation which is something every new 'writer' should be wary of. If someone falls into the trap, all you have is a person who is stuck trying to do something which he simply cannot and is also not aware that he cannot.

That brings me to an interesting point...there I was all stuck up not knowing what to write due to a 'writers block'....and now i have written quite a bit about 'being stuck'. Does that make me a writer who is eligible to have a writers block..or does that just make me someone who cannot write ? Well the fact is...I did write the above lines...so presumably, I can write. That would mean, there are two kinds of writers...one who can write about what he wants to write and the other who does not know what to write about and still writes. So we have two kinds of writers..and two kinds of 'writers block' which would mean there are 4 possible combinations.....

Oh well...let me not go there. Thats enough to get this blog started!!!
